6X GelRed™ Prestain Loading Buffer with Orange Tracking Dye
Catalog ID | Size | Pricing | |

G-735-1 | 1 mL | $ 97.00 |
Description
GelRed™ is an ultra-sensitive, extremely stable and environmentally safe fluorescent nucleic acid dye designed to replace the highly toxic ethidium bromide (EtBr). 6X GelRed™ Prestain Loading Buffers are gel loading buffers containing density agents, tracking dyes, and GelRed dye. The 6X prestain loading buffer is added to samples in place of gel loading buffer and eliminates the need to add fluorescent DNA dye to the agarose gel during casting.
6X GelRed™ Prestain Loading Buffer with Orange Tracking Dye contains an orange electrophoresis tracking dye that run at approximately 50 bp in a 1% agarose gel.
GelRed™ and EtBr have virtually the same spectra, so you can directly replace EtBr with GelRed without changing your existing imaging system. In addition, GelRed™ is far more sensitive than EtBr, which cannot be used in DNA loading buffer to prestain DNA. GelRed™ is compatible with downstream applications such as sequencing and cloning. GelRed™ is efficiently removed from DNA by commercial gel extraction kits or by phenol/chloroform extraction and ethanol precipitation.

Description
GoldBio's 6x Green DNA Loading Dye is a pre-mixed buffer for tracking DNA samples during the electrophoresis on agarose or polyacrylamide gels. It contains two dyes (Xylene cyanol FF and Orange G) for tracking the DNA migration. The Xylene cyanol FF and Orange G migrate at approximately 4,000 bp and 50 bp on a standard 1% TAE agarose gel respectively (800 bp and 30 bp on a 2% TAE agarose gel respectively). The included glycerol keeps the DNA at the bottom of the well and the presence of EDTA chelates divalent metal ions to prevent the process of metal-dependent nuclease.

Description
Bovine Gamma Globulin (BGG) is a versatile and high-purity product derived from the immune system of bovines. BGG is primarily used in the production of vaccines, serums, diagnostic reagents, and medical treatments. BGG serves as a passive blocker to reduce non-specific binding and mitigate heterophilic antibody interference in assays, making it a valuable tool in both research and diagnostic applications. Its effectiveness can be optimized by tailoring blocking conditions to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio and comparing results against appropriate controls.
Bovine Gamma Globulin is widely used in research to study protein-rich hyaluronan solutions affecting artificial articular joints, detect immunoglobulin G in bovine colostrum and milk using SPR-immunoassays, and investigate immunotolerance mechanisms. Its biochemical and physiological properties are closely aligned with those of human serum components, as demonstrated by advanced analytical techniques such as chromatography and electrophoresis.
GoldBio BGG is manufactured in a closed loop system to ensure consistent quality and reproducibility.

Colony Stimulating Factor 2 (CSF2), previously called Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF), is secreted by a number of different cell types (including activated T cells, B cells, macrophages, mast cells, endothelial cells and fibroblasts) in response to cytokine or immune and inflammatory stimulation. It was initially characterized as a growth factor that can support the in vitro colony formation of granulocyte-macrophage progenitors and has functions of stimulates the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells from various lineages. CSF2 has also been reported to have a functional role on non-hematopoietic cells and can induce human endothelial cells to migrate and proliferate. Additionally, it can stimulate the proliferation of a number of tumor cell lines, including osteogenic sarcoma, carcinoma and adenocarcinoma cell lines. It is reported that CSF2 has no biological effects across species.

CSF2 promotes a Th1 biased immune response, angiogenesis, allergic inflammation and the development of autoimmunity. It shows clinical effectiveness in ameliorating chemotherapy-induced neutropenia, and CSF2 transfected tumor cells are utilized as cancer vaccines. Mature mouse CSF2 shares 49% - 54% amino acid sequence identity with canine, feline, human, and porcine CSF2 and 69% with rat CSF2. The activity of CSF2 is species specific between human and mouse. Mouse CSF2 is only weakly active on rat cells, although rat CSF2 is fully active on mouse cells.

Description
Colony Stimulating Factor 3 (G-CSF) is a pleiotropic cytokine best known for its specific effects on the proliferation, differentiation and activation of hematopoietic cells of the neutrophilic granulocyte lineage. It is mainly produced by monocytes and macrophages upon activation by endotoxins. Various carcinoma cell lines and myeloblastic leukemia cells can express CSF3 constitutively. In humans, two distinct cDNA clones for CSF3 have been isolated. Both proteins have a 30 amino acid signal peptide and have nearly identical amino acid sequences. Human CSF3 is 73% identical at the amino acid level to murine CSF3 and the two proteins show species cross-reactivity.

Description
Colony Stimulating Factor 3 (CSF3), formerly called granulocyte colony stimulating factor (GCSF), is a pleiotropic cytokine. It is mainly produced by monocytes and macrophages upon activation by endotoxin, TNFα and IFNγ. Many cell types secreted this protein after LPS, IL1 or TNFα activation, including fibroblasts, endothelial cells, astrocytes and bone marrow stromal cells. Various carcinoma cell lines and myeloblastic leukemia cells can express CSF3 constitutively. CSF3 is cytokine that acts in hematopoiesis by controlling the production, differentiation and function of 2 related white cell populations of the blood, the granulocytes and the monocytesmacrophages. In addition, it may function in some adhesion or recognition events at the cell surface. The murine CSF3 cDNA encodes a 208 amino acid residue precursor protein containing a 30 amino acid residue signal peptide that is proteolytically cleaved to generate the 178 amino acid residue mature protein. Murine CSF3 is 73% identical at the amino acid level to human CSF3 and the two proteins show species crossreactivity.
