The 4xCSL-luciferase plasmid is designed to study the Notch signaling pathway by monitoring the transcriptional activity of CSL (CBF1/Suppressor of Hairless/LAG-1), a key transcription factor in the Notch pathway.

Murine notch homologs (N1-4) undergo presenilin-dependent proteolysis.

The 4xCSL-luciferase plasmid is a synthetic plasmid obtained from a third party and its sequence has been confirmed at GoldBio.
