GST Purification
Glutathione S-transferase (GST) purification is an efficient and powerful method for isolating GST-directed antibodies and fusion proteins. GST is often used to purify proteins by way of a pull-down assay, in which the GST DNA coding sequence is spliced next to the sequence of the protein of interest. The strong affinity of the GST fusion protein for the GST agarose resin enables a rapid recovery and isolation of the protein of interest. GoldBio’s GST resin provides a one-step purification method and permits the rapid, mild and highly selective purifications of protein regardless of size or expression rate. Our resins are delivered in bulk to be used for a variety of formats, whether your specific research technique requires gravity, syringe or peristaltic pump.
