Description

Mix-n-Stain™ CF®660R Antibody Labeling Kit is a rhodamine-based, fluorescent dyes that emit fluorescence at about 685 nm in the borderline spectral region between far-red and near-IR. Although the absorption maxima is around 660 nm, the dye can be sufficiently excited by a 633 or 635 nm laser.CF®660R is brighter and significantly more photostable than competing fluorescent labeling dyes. When combined with other CF® dyes of shorter wavelengths, CF®660C can serve as a useful long wavelength dye in multi-color detection applications and is an ideal choice for confocal microscopy and other demanding applications.

Mix-n-Stain™ antibody labeling kits are a revolutionary antibody labeling technology that allows you to label your primary antibody with biotin or one of our superior CF® dyes in 30 minutes without the need for a purification step. The labeling procedure tolerates many common buffer components and antibody stabilizers. CF® dyes are highly water soluble, small organic dyes designed for labeling proteins and nucleic acids. Many of our CF® dyes are brighter and more photostable than competing dyes. Click the link for a complete list of more than 20 GoldBio CF® antibody labeling kits.

Description

Mix-n-Stain™ CF®680 Antibody Labeling Kit is an outstanding near-IR, cyanine-based dye excitable at about 680 nm with emission at about 700 nm. CF®680 is excellent for labeling antibodies, producing the brightest fluorescence and highest signal-to-noise ratio in immunostaining among spectrally similar dyes. However, because of its relatively large molecular size, CF®680 is not recommended for labeling nucleic acids or relatively small biomole Mix-n-Stain™ CF®680R Antibody Labeling Kit (Catalog # CF-860R) is better suited.

PF4 (CXCL4), Human

Catalog ID Size Pricing
2110-04-5 5 μg $ 115.00

Description

Platelet Factor 4 (PF4) is a non-ELR type of CXC chemokine. PF4 is expressed primarily in megakaryocytes and platelets, but it is also seen in a variety of other cells as well. It is released from alpha granules of activated platelets during platelet aggregation and binds to heparin with high affinity, neutralizing the anticoagulant effect of heparin. Because of this coagulation-promoting activity, it is concluded that PF4 is involved in inflammation and would healing. PF4 binds to the integral membrane protein receptor CXCR3B, an alternatively spliced isoform of CXCR3. It participates in chemotaxis of neutrophils, fibroblasts, and monocytes.

Catalog ID Size Pricing
GB-109-1 1 mL $ 205.00

Description

ProBlock™ Gold 2D is a protease inhibitor cocktail specifically developed for sample preparation for IEF/2D- studies. No EDTA is used, which allows optimal action of nuclease activity for removing nucleic acids from the samples.

ProBlock™ Gold 2D contains both irreversible and reversible protease inhibitors and inhibits serine, cysteine and metalloproteases etc. Due to the optimized concentration of the various inhibitors, the ProBlock™ Gold 2D shows excellent inhibition of protease activities and is therefore suitable for the protection of proteins extracted from animal cells / tissues, plants, yeast and bacteria etc.

ProBlock™ Gold 2D at 1X concentration in extraction buffer at pH 7-8 inhibits over 90% of protease activities.

Catalog ID Size Pricing
GB-376-1 1 mL $ 79.00
GB-376-5 5 mL $ 299.00

Description

A broad range, 100X concentrated, ready-to-use protease inhibitor cocktail. ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial 2D contains optimized concentrations of various bacterial protease inhibitors, which provide excellent inhibition of protease activities during recombinant protein purification from bacteria. The cocktail contains both reversible and irreversible protease inhibitors to inhibit metallo, serine and cysteine proteases. It also contains specific inhibitors for bacterial proteases, such as aspartic proteases and aminopeptidases. A 1X concentration of Bacterial ProteaseArrest™ inhibits over 90% of protease activities.

ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial 2D cocktail does not use EDTA as its metalloprotease inhibitor as it would inhibit the activity of proteins that require divalent cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, or Mn2+) for their biological activity. In addition, EDTA would inhibit the purification of proteins using immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC), for example His tagged or CBP tagged proteins. ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial 2Dcocktail is compatible with immobilized metal affinity chromatography.

ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial Protease Inhibitor Cocktail [100X]

Catalog ID Size Pricing
GB-330-1 1 mL $ 85.00
GB-330-5 5 mL $ 295.00

Description

ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial Protease Inhibitor Cocktail contains optimized concentrations of various bacterial protease inhibitors, which provide excellent inhibition of protease activities during protein purification from bacteria. The cocktail contains both reversible and irreversible protease inhibitors to inhibit serine and cysteine proteases. It also contains specific inhibitors for bacterial proteases, such as aspartic proteases and aminopeptidases. A 1X concentration of ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial inhibits over 90% of protease activities.

Some proteins require divalent cations (Ca2+, Mg2+ or Mn2+) for their biological activity and the presence of chelating agents may be detrimental to the protein’s activity. Chelators, such as EDTA, inhibit the purification of proteins by immobilized metal affinity chromatography.

ProBlock™ Gold Bacterial is supplied with additional, optional EDTA and 1,10-Phenanthroline monohydrate which are provided for optimal inhibition of metalloproteases and may be added in the extraction buffer or lysate as needed.
